Bad luck in Killington

Last week I was in Killington to participate in Winter Dew Tour. I went there with Emma Niklas and Nina and we were all very excited to our first competition. Still I wasn’t fully restored from my stomach bug, so there was some lack of energy for me, because I still had a lot of problem to eat properly.

The trip over there went well all the way until we arrived at the airport in Boston. Me and Nina got the news that our ski bags was still in New York, and our equipment didn’t arrived until after the competition. Although we solved it pretty good as we met some really nice people from a local shop called Black Dog, also K2 helped us out. They lend out equipment to us so we were able to compete!

My first competition day was on Thursday’s qualification, but due hard weather conditions and injuries, everyone went through to the semi-finals. The course was tricky but I was excited for the semis. Unfortunately I crashed really bad in on my 2nd run and got a bad concussion. It was very sad as I just found out that I’ve got a spot on X Games in Aspen, but now I missed out on that…

Here is my new travel buddy

Now I have to take it easy for couple of weeks so my head get back on track.
